Cadillac is one of the oldest automotive brands in the world. These machines brought many innovations to the automotive community, including electric starters, V8s, V16s, air suspensions, and even climate control. Luxury, comfort, and status: these words are synonymous with this brand. This year the famous American manufacturer celebrates its 110th anniversary, so we’re joining the celebrations with the list of the five best Cadillac models you can find on Salvagebid.

Cadillac Allanté

open top cadillac

Do you remember many open-top Cadillacs? A revolutionary Allanté isn’t the first nameplate you recollect. Arguably, the Allanté is one of the most underrated cars made by the brand. The two-seater was designated to rival the Mercedes-Benz SL but didn’t cope with the task. Americans have asked the Italian Pininfarina to design and assemble the Allanté. That accounted for an incredible price spike, and poor sales only boosted the discontinuation of the elegant convertible. Cadillac made approximately 21,000 during the production run in 1986-93, so it has become highly desirable among collectors. We’ve got one Cadillac Allanté for sale with a $10,000 price tag, so you can get your hands on it.

Cadillac ATS-V

best cadillac sports car

Here’s the best Cadillac sports car (for us at Salvagebid, though). Contrary to expectations, the ATS-V wasn’t a V8-powered jaw-dropper. The automaker built a new engine, namely a 3.6L that was quite punchy and had 465 horsepower. That was enough to compete with praised German cars such as BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C 63. Petrolheads could enjoy row-your-own shifts, as ATS-Vs were available with a 6-speed manual. However, it escapes us with how to find one with a stick shift. They’ve already become rare, but we’ve got an ATS-V here.

Cadillac CTS-V

We’re going on at full throttle with American sports cars. It’s impossible not to mention the CTS-V. Fans are unanimous that the first-gen CTS-V is the best Cadillac CTS ever made (we didn’t find a station wagon on Salvagebid, though). We absolutely love it for several factors. First, its chassis has been tested in the hardest possible racing conditions on the worldwide-known Nürburgring. Second, it borrowed a motor from the Corvette, so it remains a supercar in a sedan’s disguise. Third, the CTS-V had symbolized the maker’s upheaval in a new era, when performance met comfort and style once again. Even though they are hard to spot at an auto auction, we do have them for sale. Check our inventory to take a look at what we’ve got.

Cadillac Escalade

Are you into SUVs? We bet you are, as most people on the market are. The Escalade is the best SUV Cadillac ever made. This model had turned Cadillac’s business upside down when it debuted in 1999. The Escalade has become popular among celebrities and professionals almost at once, and it resurrected the famous slogan ‘Standard of the World.’ Newer Escalades offer potent engines (and even a diesel!), tons of space inside, and royal comfort. We’ve got many of them, so make sure you’re registered to buy one.

Cadillac Seville SLS/STS

top of the line cadillac sedan

Don’t get us wrong, but we consider the Seville SLS/STS one of the top Cadillac sedans. It received plenty of power from the Northstar engine and was one of the quickest sedans of its time. 6.4 seconds to 60 mph seems impressive even by today’s standards. On top of that, it’s very comfortable. That said, you could get where you needed fast, with pleasure, and in style. You can still purchase any of these at our car auction.

Bottom Line

Do you like Eldorados and those giant Devilles? The best Cadillac models aren’t limited to these five since many more of these vehicles deserve a separate mention. Nevertheless, we can’t but mention the XT5, which is the best-selling Cadillac model right now. All in all, we have many Cadillacs to fit any taste and budget. The same with many other brands of cars. You can get any make you like. Register with us and upload a copy of your government-issued ID to begin bidding.
